1. I buy a new copy of Scott's Specialized Catalogue of U.S. Stamps and Covers every 2 or 3 years.
2. I subscribe to Linn's Stamp Monthly (previously Scott's Stamp Monthly).

For purposes of analyzing the Scott catalog numbers that are included or omitted from this collection, the catalog numbers are broken into managable groups. Beginning with Scott #724, very few catalog numbers are excluded and are indicated as such in the listings below.
