TYPE - Trivial differences (generally referred to as "types")
PERF - Perforation gauge (not perforated v. imperforate)
COLOR - Subtle color difference (Significant color differences are included, but this is a highly subjective area).
X - Number not listed in Scott's Specialized Catalog
